The Department of Linguistics welcomes visiting scholars who seek to collaborate with our faculty or scholars interested in initiating collaborative research (culminating in jointly published papers, conference presentations, and grant applications). Visiting scholars are expected to be active members of the UF academic community and to present their work at our Monday Linguistics seminar.
Due to limited resources, visiting scholars should provide their own funding and apply for external sources of funding to support a stay here at the University of Florida. For ideas on finding external sources of funding, check the UF International Center website
