Congratulations to Professor Emeritus D. Gary Miller on the publication of The Oxford Gothic Grammar (Oxford University Press, 2019). The grammar is the most comprehensive since the 1800s, with discussions of all aspects of Gothic grammar, including syntax.
Dr. Jessica Coon (McGill University) will talk about fieldwork, Universal Grammar, and her consulting work for the movie “Arrival”. The talk takes place in Turlington L011 on Thursday, April 4, at 4pm.

Graduating Linguistics majors were recognized at the CLAS Student Recognition Ceremony in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center on December 15, 2018.
