6th Florida Linguistics Yearly Meeting

The Department of Linguistics at the University of Florida is delighted to invite submissions for the Florida Linguistics Yearly Meeting (FLYM) to be held on April 19 & 20, 2024. Because this is the first meeting since the pandemic, the theme for this year’s conference is New Beginnings. Previously, FLYM has been a theoretically oriented conference, but this year, in the spirit of this theme, we will be welcoming submissions in theoretical, experimental, and computational linguistics. The conference will include sessions for talks (10 – 15 minutes with 5 – 10 minutes of Q&A) and posters.

This year, we are also excited to announce that our keynote speaker will be Charles Yang (University of Pennsylvania).
